Sometime in the 1990s, Jenkins was rescued from the Vampire Dimension by Atomic Robo. Afterward, Jenkins became an important member of Tesladyne's Action Scientists. Jenkins' history is shrouded in mystery, but it has been said he can think of six (or seven) ways to kill a man in any situation.

Jenkins was apparently killed by ULTRA, but no body was found. The character's creators have emphasized this point, but have kept his mortality a mystery.
